Greening Murang'a: Nurturing a Sustainable Future
At St. Anna Center, we believe in safeguarding our environment for future generations. Through our Reforestation Program, we are committed to restoring degraded landscapes, enhancing biodiversity, and creating a culture of environmental stewardship within our community.

What We Do:
- Plant Trees: We aim to plant 10,000 indigenous trees over the next three years in Murang’a County.
- Engage the Youth: Our students actively participate in tree planting and maintenance, learning the value of environmental conservation.
- Environmental Education: We organize workshops and community sessions to teach sustainable practices and the importance of forest ecosystems.
Why it matters:
- Trees improve soil fertility, water retention, and local climate.
- Reforestation helps combat the effects of climate change while promoting wildlife habitats.
- Teaching children about conservation ensures they become lifelong advocates for the environment.
