ABOUT US

St. Anna care centre

St. Anna care centre started as a thought in someone’s mind who engaged his heart to have the vision come true. To-date, it is about 18 years ago when Bishop Mahiaini together with his family set out to help the orphans and the elderly of their community in Gathuekini. They started a caring centre for the less privilege which stands up to-date. In our day, we are enjoying tremendous prosperity seeing many children progress well in school through primary to colleges and universities.

The Centre is currently registered with the Ministry of Labour and Social Development, Reg No.
KIH/SHG/23.

Our Vision

Cultivating a mind and soul free from corrupted society ready to be disciplined, self-reliant and responsible in future.

Our Mission

To rebuild the lost parental love by instilling hope and confidence in God as they all long for a future with hope

Our Objective

To bring out people who will serve God themselves fully, and their fellow citizens as good models in fear of God

Staffing

Over the years since its inception, the centre has enjoyed a wide pool of staff ranging from professions to semi-skilled to unskilled persons. We are glad to be an avenue of employment to our local people.

The teaching and the management staff are core among our staff. Currently, we have 32 long term employed staff with the teachers forming the majority. We receive volunteers from time to time, both locally and from abroad. We also provide work opportunities for daily casuals whenever there are projects that need more task force.
